We at Guy Nielson Company would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves.

Guy Nielson Company is a refractory installation specialist providing applications of thermal, chemical and abrasion resistant linings and related systems.

Our services to customers extend to a variety of processing industries and institutions both in the private and public sector. Due to the nature of our work and the geographic area served, we refrain from saying we specialize in one specific process industry. This condition has provided us with a vast amount of experience and knowledge that is applicable in all fields.

The theme of experience and knowledge of products with a quality application by qualified people in a safe and timely manner is bottom line for everyone.

We have an interesting company history, which we offer in short form as follows:

History
The company was founded and located in Pocatello, Idaho by Guy M. Nielson in 1935. Installations were structural masonry doing residential, commercial and industrial projects. As the local industrial community developed, structural masonry and process linings were installed by Guy Nielson Company at Monsanto, J.R. Simplot, FMC, and the sugar and potato processing plants in the area. Since the formation of the Industrial Division in 1982, Guy Nielson Company has expanded to cover much of the United States as a refractory specialist. In 1992 we set up our pre-cast refractory shop providing specialized shapes for problem areas. In 2004 we purchased Hilton Fire Brick with offices in St. Paul, Minnesota and Billings, Montana. Although we sold the St Paul office of Hilton Fire Brick in 2007 we have retained key personnel and equipment resources of the former Hilton Fire Brick in the Billings, Montana area. This acquisition has enabled us to serve a larger area with local work forces. Guy Nielson Company stands ready to meet your refractory construction needs with excellent field supervisors, quality workmanship and substantial equipment resources.
