Ceramic Tile
With a hardness rating of 9 on the MOH scale the ceramic tile, as shown below could be the answer to your high wear area. Ceramic tile can be used in temperatures over 2100 F, they resist pressures up to 250,000 psi and can withstand many acidic environments.
